Finance Support Officer, AAT Qualified/studier, 12 month FTC, Luton, 25,000 (School term time)

Our client is looking for an AAT Qualified / Part Accounts Assistant to join their team to provide Maternity cover for the next 12 months. This is a100% office-based role across 2 sites. The role of our Finance Support Officer is to support the business in its effective working of financial matters in accordance with procedures, policies and the legal framework. To undertake a range of administration duties to ensure that a comprehensive support service is provided to this business unit.
This role would be ideal for someone with experience of working in finance, has strong communication, organisation and IT skills and an enthusiastic, proactive, professional approach and enjoys working in a busy and demanding role.
The successful candidate would be expected to work one day a month at the Luton Head Office.
Duties:
- Responsible for all transactional level processing in the finance system
- Monitoring online payments for activities
- Responsible for the purchase ledger, purchase orders, invoices and petty cash
- Providing support for audits
- Maintaining business lettings
- Using online finance programs
- Part of the Administration team and support in the main reception area
