Osborne Appointments are recruiting for Warehouse Operative for our client, an electrical company based in Luton, on a temporary to permanent basis.
Hours of a Warehouse Operative: Monday – Friday 2pm till 10pm
Pay rate: £12.00per hour to be reviewed after 12 weeks
- Dispatching of products
- Picking & packing goods from dispatch notes
- Working in a safe & responsible manner when handling weights of boxes
- Arranging recycling and general waste disposal as and when required
- Ensuring timescales are reached with priority dispatches
- Print of dispatch notes and ensure orders are dispatched in the correct order
- Stock cleansing of products that haven’t moved for periods of time
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Any ad-hoc duties given by the Sales Office Manage
Skills required for Warehouse Operative;
- Previous warehouse experience
- Quick learner
- Logically minded and able to pick up part number detail easily
- GCSE’s, Grades C & above or equivalent
- Hardworking, keen to learn and take on additional duties
