Senior Business Development Manager / Sales Manager

Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

The Opportunity: A rapidly expanding logistics company is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to lead its sales efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong client portfolio, a track record of exceeding revenue targets, and leadership skills to mentor and develop a team of four Business Development Managers (BDMs). With ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company’s sales strategy.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing in new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and providing guidance to the sales team. This dual role involves both hands-on business development and leadership, making it a perfect fit for a sales-driven professional eager to make a strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities, building a strong and sustainable client pipeline.

• Leverage an existing portfolio of clients to drive revenue growth.

• Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of four Business Development Managers, helping them to refine their sales strategies and meet targets.

• Conduct face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and virtual presentations to engage prospective clients. • Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions for clients.

• Stay informed about industry trends and company services to maintain a competitive edge.
