Hays is working with an Ofsted-rated 'Good' school near Lutterworth to find a part-time Year 1 Teacher to start after Easter until the end of the academic year. This is a part-time role 3 days per-week from Monday - Wednesday including PPA time. Your new role

In your new job as a teacher with Hays, you'll take on planning and marking responsibilities alongside another teacher in this job-share role. You'll collaborate with your partner teacher and a teaching assistant to deliver an ambitious curriculum which encourages pupils to achieve their highest potential. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.

What you need to succeed

To be successful in your new job, you'll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience working in a Key Stage 1 classroom. You'll need to have excellent classroom management skills and be prepared to support SEND pupils with the help of a dedicated teaching assistant. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships with staff and pupils quickly!
