Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA) to join a supportive primary school in Lutterworth (LE17). This is a full-time role offering a daily rate of 90-105, depending on experience and qualifications. The role involves supporting children with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the care and attention needed to thrive in a mainstream classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with a range of SEN.
Assist with planning and delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs.
Support the child's emotional, social, and academic development.
Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to monitor progress and adapt support strategies.
Help promote an inclusive learning environment where all children can succeed.
Essential Requirements:
Experience working in the UK in an SEN or teaching assistant role.
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
A positive and patient attitude, with the ability to support children with varying needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
