About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Lutterworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive impact in their educational experience.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of learning, emotional, and behavioural needs. Your role will involve working closely with the class teacher to provide one-on-one and small group support, ensuring that every student has the resources and guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEN.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities.
Support students in engaging with the curriculum and overcoming barriers to learning.
Monitor and track student progress, adapting support as necessary.
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Offer emotional and behavioural support to students when required.
Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other school staff to implement strategies for student success.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, ideally those with special educational needs.
A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them reach their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students' academic and emotional development.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students.
