As the Bookkeeper / Administrator you will manage our clients’ financial transactions and support our client’s business operations. If you're experienced in Xero and Excel, highly organised, and looking for a flexible working environment, we’d love to hear from you. You will be working for a well-established Marine business based in Lymington.

Duties and responsibilities of the Bookkeeper / Administrator:

•      Record and manage daily financial transactions        
•      Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns         
•      Invoice customers via Xero and follow up on overdue accounts        
•      Process supplier payments and maintain creditor records        
•      Maintain organise financial records and documentation       
•      Assist the Director with administrative tasks as needed
•      Work closely with the company accountant

Qualifications and requirements for the Bookkeeper / Administrator :

•        Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role      
•        Ability to work independently and in a team    
•        Level 2 & 3 AAT qualification
•        2 year of accounting experience (preferred)     
•        5 years of bookkeeping experience (required)      
•        Must be able to travel to Lymington for work
