Description
As the Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget forecasts
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Document financial transactions by entering account information
- Analyse financial information and summarise financial status
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Provide financial advice to management by studying operational issues and suggesting solutions
Profile
To be successful for the Accountant position, you should have:
- Proven experience in accountancy
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
