Our client based in Lymington has an immediate requirement for a Driver / Technician to join their small but busy team.
As a Driver/Technician, you will be responsible for delivering, demonstrating and collecting a range of hire equipment from customers, suppliers and other company depots. Your day-to-day duties will include the receipt, preparation, testing and despatching of equipment whilst operating within the company’s policies and procedures.
To be successful in this job you will need experience in multi-drop driving roles or the construction industry, a good knowledge of the local area and great customer service skills; some knowledge of tools and plant would be a distinct advantage.
You must be a hands-on, practical person that is happy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in, engineering or mechanical maintenance skills will be required, although you will learn on the job from the more experienced Technicians. In addition, a full driving licence is essential for when you are needed to assist with deliveries.
You must be able to travel to a remote location in Lymington for work. This is a permanent position with an immediate start available; the starting salary will be £26,500k per annum.
