We are recruiting for a Night Shift Packers for a global manufacturing company in Lymington, Hampshire.

Salary:Starting at£11.90 and rising to £12.47 once signed off and competent.

Hours:

Night Shift: Mon-Thurs 22:00-06:00 Fri 17:00-22:00

**Training will be done on days for 6 weeks: Week 1 Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:00 Fri 06:00-11:00 Week 2 Mon-Thurs 14:00-22:00 Fri 11:00-16:00**

Overtime available at x1.5 after 37.5 hours during the week and Saturday.

X 2 for Sunday and bank holidays.

Main purpose of the job:

  • Loading stock onto the production line
  • Operation of light machinery in a safe manner
  • Accurate recording of material waste
  • Recording of personal daily activity information
  • Participating in company wide and specific continuous improvement activities
  • Reporting stock/machine defects, or perceived defects to the Production Team Leader
  • Assisting colleagues/departments or undertaking other duties as requested by the Production Team Leader
  • Manual handling on a daily basis

Personal Specification:

  • Numerate and literate
  • Ability to interpret detailed work orders and quality information
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to be trained in operation of extruders and ancillary equipment
  • Operate as part of a manufacturing team
