Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Conveyancing Assistant to join our team and support our fee earners in managing property transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in conveyancing who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering excellent client service.

Hours of Work

- Full Time: 35 hours per week, 9.00-5.00pm Monday to Friday.

In this role, you'll:

- Assist fee earners in managing the entire conveyancing process, from opening files to post-completion tasks.- Serve as a key point of contact, providing updates to clients, estate agents, and other parties throughout the transaction.- Prepare essential legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.- Conduct thorough title searches to verify legal ownership and identify any issues that may affect the transaction.- Manage communications with the Land Registry, ensuring all necessary documents are correctly filed and registrations are completed post- transaction.- Prepare and process financial documents, including invoices, statements, and managing financial aspects related to property transactions.- Maintain accurate records and case files, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and firm procedures.

What Were Looking For:

- Conveyancing experience preferable, including managing workloads and priorities- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, estate agents, colleagues and other stakeholders.- Keen attention to detail, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complies with legal standards.- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment.- Confident using case management systems and MS Office for document preparation and file management.
