Supply Chain Executive Job in Lymington (FMCG Industry)

Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with a product-based company in Lymington who are going from strength to strength. They are now looking for a new Supply Chain Executive to join their busy office and become an integral part of this creative product focused business, assisting the Operations Director in managing the administration, documentation and process of the supply chain department.

The Supply Chain Executive will be monitoring, tracking, and ensuring that all products and samples meet client specifications and high-quality expectations. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, team-focused environment, enjoys taking on challenges, and is eager to contribute across multiple aspects of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Shipping Coordinator:

  • Set up, update, and manage digital files efficiently.
  • Liaise with factories and clients to address and resolve queries or issues promptly.
  • Label and organise product samples, ensuring they are tidy and stored correctly.
  • Amend purchase orders and other documentation as needed.
  • Support the Quality Manager in conducting quality control inspections according to specifications and timelines.
  • Support the Project Manager in tracking and managing deadlines for all orders.
  • Organise and dispatch parcels to factories and clients as required.
  • Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track critical data.
  • Reconcile costs, quantities, and order details with internal systems and external documentation.
  • Assist in drafting and issuing commercial invoices and delivery notes during peak periods.
  • Verify documentation accuracy for orders and ensure all relevant teams are updated.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Operations Director during busy periods.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Excellent organisational and administration skill
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Experience working with suppliers in the far east would be highly beneficial
  • Strong administration skills

Salary & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays

  • Hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
