Brook Street Recruitment are looking for an experience legal secretary or paralegal to work within an established firm based in Totton.
Job Description:
As a Paralegal in our Private Client Team, you will:
- Research legal issues related to private client matters.
- Help prepare and review wills, trusts, and other legal documents.
- Organise case files and legal documents.
- Communicate with clients, financial advisers, and other parties.
- Assist with probate and estate administration.
- Prepare reports and summaries of legal documents.
- Handle administrative tasks like scheduling meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in private client services.
- Good understanding of estate planning, wills, and trusts.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
- Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
