About Us:Our client is a reputable and long-established financial services firm, currently seeking an experienced Paraplanner. This position is a result of their continued growth and success in providing exemplary financial planning services. Role Overview:As a Paraplanner, you will collaborate closely with Financial Advisers and other team members to deliver first class financial planning services. This includes preparing detailed suitability reports, implementing financial recommendations, and ensuring comprehensive documentation and client records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Financial Advisers to address client queries and compile financial planning reports.
  • Gather and analyse client data, adhering to the 'know your client' principle.
  • Prepare suitability letters and detailed financial reports for senior review.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including new business processing and client meeting organization.
  • Maintain compliance and contribute to the firm's professional standards.

Team Support:

  • Actively participate in team meetings and communications.
  • Provide support to colleagues and ensure seamless service delivery in the team’s absence.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and share knowledge through job shadowing and on-the-job support.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of the financial planning process and related regulations.
  • Ideally candidates will be level 4 qualified as a minimum but those studying towards this will be considered.
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proven experience in financial services, particularly in pensions, investments, and tax planning.
