Resourcery is currently supporting a prestigious not-for-profit organisation in their search for a highly skilled Project Accountant. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing team, making a real impact within the organisation. The Project Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for overseeing the grants and funding for various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely financial information on grants and funding, both internally and externally
  • Act as the finance focal point for grants-related issues, including budgeting, cash flow management, reporting, and auditing
  • Analyse budget and actual costs, and prepare project profit and loss statements for internal key stakeholders
  • Support the organisation through precise financial performance reporting
  • Manage administrative duties related to grants, including setting up new grants/funding once secured
  • Collaborate closely with AP and AR teams to ensure efficient billing and invoicing processes
  • Maintain database and records accurately and efficiently
  • Handle internal and external queries regarding grants and funding

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar position with strong exposure to grants and funding
  • Experience in reporting and accounting in the not-for-profit sector
  • AAT qualified, CIMA/ACCA part qualified is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, specifically with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
