The successful candidate will take a hands-on role in consolidating the groups budget, managing monthly management accounts, and leading the forecasting process. In addition, they will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis to support business strategy, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the consolidation of the group budget and central functions (Finance, IT, Procurement, Sales, Marketing).
  • Take ownership of the monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Provide financial planning and analysis support, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to offer financial insights that drive business decisions.
  • Develop and enhance financial models for long-term strategic planning.
  • Ensure robust financial processes and controls are in place and continuously improved.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive, ambitious approach with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in a services organisation or group structure is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
