Job Title: HR AdvisorLocation: MACCLESFIELDSalary: Up to £30,000Contract: PermanentHybrid: 3 days a week in the office  We are working on behalf of a successful business who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the team.  Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert Employee Relations (ER) advice to line managers and employees, ensuring a consistent and fair approach to HR issues.
  • Manage complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, escalating when necessary.
  • Lead or support key HR initiatives, including diversity and inclusion programs, policy updates, and organizational change projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering guidance on HR best practices, compliance, and employment law.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development, Recruitment, and Payroll teams to achieve the wider People Vision.
  • Manage TUPE processes, redundancy consultations, and other HR projects as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • A background in HR with demonstrable ER experience.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive problem-solver who is adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
