Graduate Town Planner - Exciting Opportunity in a Leading Planning Consultancy

We are working with a leading planning consultancy that is looking to bring on board a talented and motivated Graduate Town Planner to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with planning applications, appeals, and development proposals across a range of sectors
  • Supporting senior planners in the preparation of planning statements, reports, and documents
  • Engaging with local authorities and other stakeholders to gather relevant data and inform planning processes
  • Conducting site visits and research to support planning assessments and policy analysis
  • Contributing to the preparation of development plans, policies, and strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant planning laws and regulations


The Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate (or soon to graduate) with a relevant degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and findings
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills
  • An eagerness to learn and develop professionally
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and on individual tasks
  • Ideally, some experience or exposure to planning through internships, placements, or university projects (though not essential)
