Info about what the role entails
As the Technical Manager, you will manage an experienced team in the validation of product, system and material performance in support of design and development activities. You will be responsible for a team of 8.
Responsibilities include:
- Certification and completion of all development and performance validation work
- Ensure that activities relating to system, product and material testing & research and environmental control are authorised in accordance with customer requirements and the regulatory authorities.
- Cooperate with HSE team to ensure risk assessments are maintained
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset in testing techniques, material development, reporting and documentation processes
Requirements of the Technical Manager
- Experience working in either the Aerospace (Preferred) or a Highly Regulated Industry
- Strong People Management skills
- Good working knowledge on continuous improvement and lean techniques.
- Efficient Problem Solver.
