A bespoke art-frame manufacturer is looking for an experienced Framer / Woodwork Craftsman to join their team in Bollington, Cheshire on a full-time basis.

They specialise in engineered oversize art-frames in welded metals, woods, and acrylic boxes to present and protect beautiful art. The frames are created to a high standard, with a range of surface finishes.

They need an experienced Framer / Woodwork Craftsman to join them who can hit the ground running. You will be happy to work hard to achieve quality results in a friendly, small team environment with up-to-date machinery and systems.

Required Experience:

  • You will be versed and confident in most framing / wood-shop skills and machinery
  • Ideally you would also have some skills in surface finishes (or be prepared to learn quickly)

Required Skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Reliable and positive approach
  • A desire to learn and to be the best in the industry
  • A good technical understanding of frame manufacturing
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, and the confidence to count as part of a team
  • Ability to cover one or more areas of framing manufacture

  • Decisive, helpful, accommodating, enthusiastic, conscientious and considerate
  • Demonstrate drive and passion for the work
