We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry who are looking for an Assembly/Mechanical Technician

The Job

  • Produce all seat plastics components to the highest quality standard, including but notrestricted to the following processes (scraping, tool making, vacuum forming, trimming, gluing and assembly)
  • Work within the COSHH guidelines and ensure correct wearing of appropriate PPE.
  • Read and understand basic engineering drawings and 1st and 3rd Angle projection
  • Assist in stock control/stores/inspection/part marking and packaging.
  • Ensure the workshop is maintained to a safe standard in accordance with companyEH&S policies/procedures.
  • Help out in the inspection area when required including packing and boxing upcomponents.
  • Kit components as required.

About you

  • Proven experience in Assembly
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Capable of reading and understanding Standard Measuring Equipment SME.
  • Able to interpret Assembly/Engineering drawings
  • To have a keen eye for detail.
