The position of Mechanical Fitter in Caerphilly offers a salary of £36,000 with potential overtime earnings bringing the total to around £42,000 OTE.
This role is within a modern manufacturing facility and part of a leading engineering company, ensuring long-term job stability.
Candidates are expected to have experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer or fitter, ideally with a background in manufacturing or similar fields, along with a time-served apprenticeship.
The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm and Friday from 7am to 12:30pm, allowing for a great work-life balance with an early finish on Fridays.

Your Duties:

* Planned and reactive maintenance of processing machinery and ancillary equipment

* Repairs and responding to breakdowns

* Mechanical fault finding and testing

* Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm Friday 7am - 12:30pm

Your Experience:

* Mechanical maintenance engineer/fitter from a factory environment (backgrounds from Manufacturing, FMCG, Construction or similar)

* Time served apprenticeship (HNC/ONC or similar)

* Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding ability
