Exciting opportunity to manage a luxury nursing home for older people.

Bright Selection are delighted to again be working with a valued client who are looking to appoint a new Home Manager for a purpose-built, luxury care centre in the Maesteg area. Leading a dedicated and highly skilled workforce you will be responsible for day to day operational management of the service ensuring professional and high-quality care for elderly residents.

The home is established in the local area and has gained an excellent reputation for its state-of-the-art facilities. The home is committed to providing a high level of care to an elderly client group with diverse care and nursing needs.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing an elderly nursing home
  • Nurse qualification with valid NMC Pin
  • An interest in dementia care, further qualifications / training in dementia care would be advantageous
  • Experience in leading and developing large care and nursing teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest standards of care and exceeding residents expectations and needs
  • Provide staff with guidance, advice and training
  • Manage and be accountable for the home's income and expenditure budgets
  • Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision
  • Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines
  • Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community

Remuneration

  • The role is paid at up to 60,000 - 65,000pa (negotiable) plus benefits
