Commercial Accountant - Maidenhead (3 days in office) - £65,000 to £70,000 + 25% bonus

A bit more about the role...
A broad role, highly commercial in nature but with technical accounting aspects thrown in to the mix, one that will see you....
- Supporting the wider team to ensure the team delivers robust analysis and commentary explaining monthly performance variances against Budgets and Forecasts, highlighting Risks and Opportunities, and supporting the business with reforecasting.
- Taking the lead in managing month and quarter end procedures to support timely and accurate delivery of monthly management reporting, including variance analysis, follow up and detailed commentary.
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts for the relevant fixed assets and other relevant areas
- Provide high quality financial guidance to internal and external stakeholders based on commercial insight, market context and business strategy to support decision making and identify commercial opportunities.
- Take ownership for budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with stakeholders to make strong commercial decisions.
- A true Business Partner to Sales, Operations and Marketing teams to improve business performance and profitability.
- Process improvement - review existing processes and work with key internal stakeholders to document and provide continual improvements to ensure speed and accuracy. Manage improvement projects and provide updates.
- Production of balance sheet reconciliations
About you....
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven commercial & financial accounting experience.
- A minimum of 3 years post qualified
