Amazing opportunity available for an Operations Assistant to join a Tour Operator in Berkshire. As the Operations Assistant you will be Assisting the Managing Director in efficiently and accurately supporting the ground handling operations in a busy and growing travel environment.

The Job:

  • Supporting the team's daily operations and logistics
  • Maintaining organised filing systems for both digital and physical documents
  • Taking business-related phone calls and responding in a timely manner to all business-related emails
  • Liaising with service providers, partners, suppliers etc. as required
  • Loading and updating client / booking data into the reservation systems
  • Issuing booking documents (invoices, tickets, itineraries, vouchers etc.)
  • Checking supplier invoices
  • Corresponding with service providers worldwide and requesting reservations in ground-services
  • Conducting relevant industry research

Skills Required:

  • Experience working in a busy office
  • Proficiency and proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent logistical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, prioritise and coordinate projects, including planning, task organisation and working to deadlines

The Package:

  • The role is full onsite Monday - Friday
  • Salary depending on experience
