This amazing experiential agency are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their client development team, supporting revenue generation through experiential and smart mass sampling. This role is initially a 12-month maternity cover, with the potential for a permanent, full-time position depending on business requirements.You will work with some of the UK’s largest FMCG brands, delivering excellent customer service, building strong, trusting relationships, and driving ambitious growth targets.You will join a team that prides itself on being supportive, fun, and committed to strong personal leadership values. The responsibilities of this Senior Account Manager will include:
- Developing and managing a portfolio of existing client accounts whilst supporting senior members of the Client Development team to achieve joint goals.
- Using a strategic account plan, identify new business opportunities to increase account spend and develop the client base.
- Responsible for independently managing relationships with existing clients, with the ability to understand and deliver against their needs. This includes attending client meetings independently, presenting ideas and budgets confidently and developing a strategic account plan.
- Deploy client - facing negotiation skills by offering additional services and increasing the value of the account.
- Gain and develop insight into creative concepts and ideas within the industry, as well as digital and social campaigns and effectively communicate these to existing clients and potential clients.
- Prepare solutions and proposals based on an understanding of the client’s business, an analysis of their requirements, brand experience, market category and strategic direction.
- Manage client objections and complaints, offering effective solutions.
The requirements of this Senior Account Manager are:
- Experiential experience agency side.
- Demonstrable experience in account management within Experiential &/or Retail sectors, ideally in the beauty industry.
- Successful record of client development and able to create and maintain robust long term client relationships.
- Strong and open communication skills to deliver presentations.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task and juggle different priorities whilst retaining a cool head and an professional demeanour.
- The ability to develop multiple clients at one time.
