Who will you be working with?

MCFT are a nationwide company who specialise in Catering and Refrigeration maintenance working for high end customers in the UK, Netherlands and the Middle East. What is the role?

  • Managing our field team’s training and certification programmes - ensuring that all training is kept up to date and no certifications expire.
  • Ensuring all record keeping and databases are correct and maintained to the highest standard.
  • Providing support to all apprentices and graduates in the business, by:

o holding monthly 1-2-1’s to ensure their wellbeing.

o supporting through EPA to ensure they get the exposure needed.

o Supporting in the creation of personal development plans.

  • Maintaining the inhouse LMS (Learning Management System) for staff.
  • Arranging and booking inhouse training for engineers & office staff and supporting staff inductions.
  • Managing the delivery of training for our in-house training programmes and make recommendations to improve and enhance the training.
  • Help coordinate manufacturer training for the established work force.
  • Supporting an outreach programme to local schools and colleges to spread awareness of the company and the great opportunities we have for young people.

What we’re looking for in a candidate?

  • A confident person that is able to present themselves professionally in person and over the phone.
  • A problem solver, someone who is able to manage difficult and challenging situations.
  • Someone who is extremely organised and is able to keep many training programmes on the go at one time.
  • Someone who is pro-active and a self-starter, who enjoys working as part of a team but can also work alone.
  • You will possess a positive, can-do attitude, and have a hands-on approach to the work.
  • Able to build relationships internally and externally with all stakeholders.
  • Previous learning & development experience is essential.
  • Previous experience of coaching and delivering training is preferrable but not essential.
  • Someone who is able to work with IT programmes.
