Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for an exciting opportunity to join a reputable  Infrastructure organisation in Maidenhead?

 In order to support the continued growth of the business, they are now recruiting for a detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance department. As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in managing the credit control function for our client. You will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of customers, setting credit limits, and ensuring timely payment to support positive cash flow and financial health.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the collection for a specific section of the ledger 
  • Liaise with internal & external stakeholders regarding credit limits and payment terms in line with company policies and risk assessment.
  • Establishing relationships with customers via various communication channels, following up on overdue payments. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address payment issues and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment history, and credit risk exposure.
  • Implement effective credit control procedures to optimise cash flow and minimise bad debt risk.
  • Reconciling both bank and supplier statements accurate and up-to-date financial records

Desired Experience:

  •  Previous experience in a credit control role or similar financial position.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
