A specialist school in Maidenhead for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) is seeking a Teaching Assistant - Mental Health to work with children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 facing trauma, mental health, and behavioural challenges, including supporting Looked After Children.
This full-time role is perfect for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or related fields, but relevant experience will also be considered. The school is based in Maidenhead, with great transport links across the city.
As a Teaching Assistant - Mental Health, you will work alongside therapists and psychologists, gaining valuable hands-on experience with children who have significant emotional and developmental needs. You will support their mental health, personal growth, and well-being in a dynamic setting. This role also offers experience with SEN, including Autism and ADHD.
