We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and their families.

Role Overview:
  • Position: Band 6 CPN – CAMHS
  • Location: Maidenhead area
  • Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm)
  • Rate: £26.50 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Duration: Start ASAP, ongoing for a minimum of 3 months
  • Remote Working: Part remote working available – flexible team
  • Car Driver: Essential
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of up to 30 children and adolescents with mental health needs.
  • Provide care coordination, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, and reviews.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and support to young people and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
  • Conduct community visits as needed, maintaining a child-centred approach.
Essential Requirements:
  • Current NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (CPN).
  • Experience working within CAMHS or similar settings.
  • Knowledge of care coordination under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for community visits.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
