A Day in the Life of a CPN - Psychiatric Liaison Team:

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and play a vital role in assessing and supporting patients in acute mental health crisis within a fast-paced liaison psychiatry service. Your core responsibilities include:

? Conducting urgent mental health assessments in acute hospital settings? Providing crisis intervention and risk management plans? Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including A&E and acute medical teams? Offering specialist advice and support to hospital staff regarding mental health presentations? Referring patients to appropriate mental health services or community teams? Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

? Current and valid NMC registration and PIN? Previous experience in Psychiatric Liaison and Crisis Teams is essential? Strong communication and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments? Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting with multidisciplinary teams? Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & nursing care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This full-time role operates on a Monday to Sunday rota from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
