As the Standalone TA Manager - FMCG for this company in Maidenhead, you will have sole responsibility for leading the attraction, assessment and delivery of candidates across the four business units within the UK&I.

You will have a strong TA background to date, ideally in a standalone capacity. TA experience within either FMCG, food and beverage manufacturing, or Retail would be considered highly advantageous.

Description

As the Standalone TA Manager - FMCG for this company in the Thames Valley, you will have sole responsibility for leading the attraction, assessment and delivery of candidates across the four business units within the UK&I.

The role will be roughly 70% recruitment focused, with 30% being on continuous improvement strategy for the UK&I business. This can be in the form of EVP projects, Recruitment Technology adaptation, early careers strategy etc.

Business Partnering

  • Partner with stakeholders to manage the internal and external talent acquisition process.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise the talent acquisition process with a focus on a continuous improvement.
  • Coach stakeholders on the talent acquisition process ensuring hiring manager capability and a great candidate experience.
  • Own the intern and apprenticeship programme from an internal and external perspective focusing on ensuring that the company is an employer of choice and has a great brand with local schools & universities. Then managing the full 360 recruitment of candidates.
  • Capture and present recruitment analytics in order to provide stakeholders with a dashboard view and drive acquisition strategy. Manage the budget in order to deliver the talent acquisition annual operating plan.

Candidate Experience

  • Receive, review and qualify all candidates focusing on quality and candidate experience.
  • Continue to ensure the company is providing a diverse shortlist of candidates to hiring managers and promoting our DE&I agenda.
  • Manage all communications including interview booking and testing processes with candidates and suppliers.
  • Deliver a world class candidate experience during all touch points with candidates that will promote the company as an employer of choice.
  • Utilise headhunting tools to connect with prospective candidate for future and current opportunities

Projects

  • Explore innovative routes to market.
  • EVP (Employee value proposition) - partner with the Global TA team and local HR team to promote the company employer brand internally and externally.
  • Manage supplier relationship and ensuring we are optimising our partnerships.
  • Upskill hiring managers in best practice selection techniques and tools.
  • Work with the Global Talent Acquisition team on selected projects.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis and you should be able to work in the office in the Thames Valley 3 days per week.

Profile

  • Proven experience of managing a recruitment process within a fast-paced environment both in-house and agency.
  • Proven experience of driving a direct hiring model with extensive knowledge of the range of routes to market and an inquisitive mindset around future methods.
  • Experience recruiting FMCG / Food & beverage manufacturing individuals will be a big advantage for any prospective candidates.
  • Proven experience of managing and influencing stakeholders up to a senior level.
  • Experience in leading or participating in EVP and Employer brand activities and projects.
  • Demonstrable experience of project management across multiple disciplines or functions.
  • Passionate about talent acquisition with a personal pride for finding the 'right' candidate and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • An agile approach in order to under the variance of professions within and FMCG company.
  • A passion and an understanding of the FMCG world from a business context.
  • Able and willing to flex action, priorities and style to match a wide range of stakeholders and candidates for different roles and seniorities.
  • A can-do attitude demonstrated by the willingness to take on new and different challenge.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis and you should be able to work in the office in the Thames Valley 3 days per week.
