Premier Engineering is working with a leading company in Maidenhead that is looking for aStorespersonto join their team. This role is perfect for an organized and proactive individual with warehouse experience and a valid forklift license.
TheStorespersonwill ideally have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role.
- Avalid standard forklift licenseis essential.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems or related software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and suppliers.
- Managing and organizing stock within the warehouse to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Operating a forklift to load, unload, and move goods safely.
- Conducting regular stock checks and updating inventory records.
- Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring timely delivery of materials to the relevant departments.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Assisting with stock control, including reordering items as needed.
- Collaborating with the purchasing and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
