The Role - Teaching Assistant
As a Teaching Assistant you will be working in a Mainstream Secondary School asssiting pupils that are needing extra support with their classroom. You will be working alongside the class teacher to organise the class, assist with resources, and sometimes observe a class when the teacher is absent. Some pupils may have SEN needs so you must be comfortable working with SEN needs such as Autism
