Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Solicitor to join the growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in providing commercial legal advice and support to a varied client base.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a range of clients from innovative start-ups to established multinational corporations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive legal advice on commercial matters 
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements including Terms & Conditions, distribution agreements and IT contracts
  • Advising start-up businesses on legal structures, funding, and intellectual property issues
  • Supporting charities with legal and regulatory compliance, governance issues, and commercial transactions
  • Assisting SMEs and privately owned businesses with their legal needs, from company formation to commercial dispute resolution
  • Managing relationships with multinational corporations, ensuring compliance with UK law and facilitating international transactions
  • Contributing to business development efforts and building strong relationships with clients
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation and legal best practices relevant to commercial law

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in commercial law
  • Extensive experience in handling a diverse range of commercial legal matters
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide pragmatic legal advice
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of clients
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in advising start-ups, charities, and SMEs is highly desirable
  • A client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
