My client, a fleet maintenance company is looking for an experienced Aftersales and Service Engineer. Your primary responsibilities will be to write service manuals and manage/control the efficient running of the aftersales department, train and develop new staff and continue to improve customer satisfaction and deliver the highest standards of service.There is also a responsibility to identify opportunities to improve processes.Aftersales and Service Engineer General duties:
- Write up service manuals and reports
- Organise the maintenance required within the depot
- Plan and allocate work for Technicians based on their expertise and skills and ensures repairs are completed correctly
- Acts in a professional manner to develop ongoing relationships
- Communicates effectively with all parties
- Maintain good discipline and organisation for the workshop, ensuring it is clean, tidy and safe, and monitors the workshop team
Aftersales and Service Engineer Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician
- Leadership experience
- Great hydraulic experience
- High level of communication and human relations skills
- HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent Microsoft experience (Word, Power point and Excel)
