Our amazing specialist setting in Maidenhead is looking for a Pastoral Support Worker to join their team asap.

Some Information on the role as Pastoral Support Worker:

  • The school place a huge focus on supporting students who have been diagnosed with social, emotional and mental health needs, and ensure they are being met with the necessary interventions to support their development and education.
  • They prioritise a nurturing and supportive environment for their students.
  • You will be involved in the development of student's social skills, emotional regulation and academic engagement through the use of therapy, all in a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • You will also be included and involved in monitoring student progress and report on emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • You will focus on supporting emotional and mental well being
  • You will assist with classroom acitivities and ensure that all students are well engaged and participating in lessons
  • The students need help in developing healthy coping strategies, so you will facilitate any interventions in place by the class teacher
  • You will also follow through with the Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP's)
