SEN Teaching Assistant - Supporting SEN in a Mainstream Primary School

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Maidenhead. The role involves providing 1-to-1 support to a student in either Year 1 or Year 4 with additional needs, such as Autism or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This position is ideal for a candidate with a solid foundation in Maths and English and prior experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or challenging behavior, though experience is not essential.
This opportunity is perfect for graduates who have an interest in education or supporting SEN students, as well as individuals with experience working with children in schools, sports, childcare, or other supportive settings. This Ofsted-rated "Good" school is also a great environment for aspiring teachers, as they offer potential teacher training to their top-performing Teaching Assistants.
Position Details:
- Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

- Pay: 83 - 95 per day (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)
- Contract: Long-term temporary, with potential for a permanent role
- Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
- Experience: Preferred but not required
