Job Purpose
  • Support a thriving tax team with various assignments, including:
  • Preparation of personal tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Directors, and HNWIs.
  • Preparation of rental income and expenditure accounts.
  • Preparation of Sole Trader accounts.
  • Liaise with HMRC, deal with statements of accounts, and PEY Coding Notices.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
  • Attend client meetings and provide valuable input.
  • Work directly with the Tax Senior and Tax Director to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
  • Keep up-to-date with taxation news and regulations, knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.

What are we looking for?
  • ATT qualified or part qualified with previous taxation experience within practice.
  • Qualified by experience would also be considered. Study support is available.
  • Working knowledge of various taxation software.
  • Adept at completing self-assessment returns.
  • Strong knowledge of capital gains tax and corporation tax is preferable and additional training can be provided.
  • Good communication skills and sound attention to detail.
