TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a fantastic firm of Chartered Accountants based in Maidstone. Both full time and part time applicants will be considered.

This firm has a strong reputation and a rich history within the local community. Situated on the outskirts of Maidstone, the office fosters a welcoming and supportive environment, thanks to the dedication of its experienced and long-serving team members. Operating as a general practice, the position will primarily be focused on statutory accounts and tax work, but there will be an opportunity to get involved in other areas too, dependent on your experience and interests.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the firm’s continued success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and preparing accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Handling tax matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Providing general advice and supporting the tax team with their tax planning
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Overseeing and supporting more junior members of staff

Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will be either part or fully qualified ACA or ACCA, or qualified by experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in both accounts and tax.
