ABOUT THE ROLEResponsibility for management accounting, forecasting, commercial analysis, and decision support relating to theRetail division.Working closely with the Commercial Directors, Procurement teams and Head of Finance to maximise the commercialopportunities and identify risks and opportunities within the region.They offer hybrid working - 3 days in the office - anchor days Tues/WedHours 8.30am - 5.00pmKEY RESPONSIBILITIES*Proactive Finance Business Partner providing support, challenge and insight to the commercial teams*To deliver timely, accurate & relevant financial information & analysis to key stakeholders including:Monthly and quarterly forecastsAnnual budgetsVariance analysis & bridge statementsAd-hoc analysis to drive business performance*Consignment reconciliation & margin management, analysis, and challengePresent & explain commercial department performance at Weekly Trading Board meetings*Identifying risks and opportunities to enable delivery of the targets*Develop, rigorously challenge, and question the budget/forecast assumptions and KPIs*Provision of the Monthly Review Packs & commentary*Identify and explain business performance variances and recommendations for improvements*Royalty & rebate calculations & returns*Grower loan requests*Assess foreign currency requirements and produce forward purchase proposals*Maintain strong financial controls across all areas*Support the Head of Finance as required through analysis and project activity
