Management Accountant | Hybrid (1 day a week in the Maidstone office)| £45k - £50k

Cobb & Jones Recruitment are supporting a well-respected business in the financial services in their search for a newly created Management Accountant role.Working collaboratively with the Finance Director who will be a hands-on mentor day to day. This role will be based 1 day a week in their Maidstone office and 4 days a week remote.

Responsibilities:

Production of monthly management accounts.

Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

Ad-hoc reporting requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders and Finance Director.

Support for other areas of the head office finance department where required with project work.

To continually review, identify and develop production of further management information that reviews business performance and supports/direct business activities and initiatives

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will be actively studying with aspirations to qualify whilst learning on the job ACA; ACCA; or CIMA.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ability to build strong working relationships with non-finance stakeholders.

Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and IT skills.

Commercially astute with good business acumen.
