Tax Semi-Senior Accountant

We are looking someone who's currently studying their ATT's or who's ATT qualified to join an established practice in the Kent area. The successful candidate will be integral in handling tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise on the implications for the practice and its clients.
  • Provide tax planning support and advice to clients, helping them to optimise their tax positions.
  • Work collaboratively with the accounting team to improve tax processes and efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients to collect necessary documentation and resolve queries relating to their tax affairs.
  • Maintain high standards of client service, responding promptly and professionally to requests and enquiries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Studying ATT or ATT qualified is preferred.
  • Experience in a tax accounting role within a practice environment.
  • A thorough understanding of UK tax laws and filing requirements.
  • Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
