Operating solely between the hours of 9-5, Monday to Friday, you would be providing support to their members with their queries. This requires someone who has been the technical lead in their current role and is up to date with their technical accounting knowledge.You will understand and diagnose to provide practical, comprehensive advice on a wide range of technical and professional matters. What you’ll be doing
  • Offer best practice advice, guidance, and professional opinions on a range of technical, ethical, and anti-money laundering issues to maintain members' leadership in the accountancy and finance profession.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by resolving member enquiries from various channels.
  • Record enquiries accurately in the member database.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with specialists in other departments to share knowledge and enhance Technical and Advisory Services.
  • Contribute to the team's understanding of members' needs and expectations, aiding colleagues in providing the best possible advice and guidance.
What you need to have
  • Qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and practical experience in accounting, auditing, and company law.
  • Experience in a technical role or technical department is advantageous but not essential.
  • Good knowledge and awareness of guidance produced by professional accounting bodies.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service across various communication channels, including webchat and AI bots.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to adapt to meet evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to empathise with members, offering practical and pragmatic advice, guidance and solutions.
