About The Company: We're thrilled to assist a rapidly expanding business in the heart of Maidstone in their search for an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will join a small but supportive team, directly reporting to the Head of Finance. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative, forward-thinking company at a crucial point in their growth.The Role: As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the finance team, handling a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks.Key Responsibilities:

Managing accounts payable and receivable
Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers
Preparing management reports
Handling VAT returns
Conducting credit control
Processing payroll
Managing employee expenses

Desirable Skills:

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar finance role
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks
Strong experience with transactional accounting
Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero
A solid working knowledge of Excel
