Our client is a market leader in their industry, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued and recognised.Your new role: As a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include,

  • Matching purchase orders to invoices and posting to the accounting ledger.
  • Assist in query resolutions including liaising with administrators/suppliers.
  • Perform weekly automated invoice matching run.
  • Assist in preparation of reports to local management team
  • Ensure the finance inbox is monitored, and action is taken as required.
  • Ensure all supplier/subcontractor reconciliations are completed on time.
  • Update the monthly balance sheet reconciliations file as required.
  • Provide any financial analysis as required.
  • Assist in the internal/external audit where appropriate.
  • Any other ad-hoc finance work as directed by the Management Accountant.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Able to work quickly and accurately and under own initiative.
  • Proven track record of meeting tight monthly deadlines in a very busy environment
  • A high level of understanding around financial processes.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and intermediate excel skills are necessary.
  • Ability to communicate financial information to a non-finance audience.
  • Microsoft Navision/Dynamics experience would be an advantage but not essential.
