We are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Officer for a three-month contract with the potential for extension or a permanent role. The position is based in Kent with a hybrid working model requiring at least three days in the office per week.
The Temporary Accounts Payable Officer’s key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a busy inbox, clearing backlog, and processing invoices with PO matching.
- Handling payment runs and ensuring accurate financial data recording.
- Assisting with month-end processes and maintaining system accuracy.
- Resolving supplier queries, reconciling statements, and liaising with internal teams.
The successful Temporary Accounts Payable will:
- Have experience in Accounts Payable with hands-on knowledge of PO systems and payment runs.
- Be a quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Be proficient in supplier statement reconciliation and financial data accuracy.
- Comfortable with basic Excel usage; familiarity with ERP systems.
