Reed Business Support, the UK's leading specialist recruitment partner, is seeking a Business Analyst for our client based in Maidstone. This role is integral to the commercial team, focusing on continuous improvement, development, and the introduction of new ways of working to ensure that business systems are efficient and fit for purpose.

Business Analyst Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work with site teams to investigate opportunities to improve data capture, management, and visualisation, aiming to develop more efficient processes.

  • Ensure a tight change control process is followed from start to finish, keeping all parties informed of progress.

  • Take ownership of the data management of the ERP QC Inspection Sheets system, ensuring timely changes are documented and carried out at the customer’s request.

  • Assist with the implementation, oversight, and continued development of systems.

  • Provide comprehensive testing for ERP upgrades, take ownership and refinement of the overall testing plan, and support the subsequent upgrade, escalating to 3rd parties if appropriate.

  • Document workflows and practices.

  • Test new workflows and implement them in conjunction with the wider team(s).

  • Prioritise multiple projects with strict deadlines.

  • Address escalated issues in a timely manner, liaising internally or with 3rd parties where appropriate, ensuring the necessary urgency is given to each incident.

Business Analyst Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Prophet).

  • SQL querying is a must.

  • An understanding of Business Intelligence tools (preferably Power BI).

  • An understanding of report writing (preferably Crystal Reports).

  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurized environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexibility in thinking and approach.

  • Initiative, tenacity, and a drive for excellence.

The ideal Business Analyst candidate would need to be able to show experience obtained from a similar role, be in commutable distance to our client in Maidstone, and be required to drive due to the location.
