My client a global cybersecurity business are seeking a Managing Principal to work both at a strategic and operational level, to be the bridge between the business and specialist delivery teams
My client is an expert cybersecurity business providing managed security and threat detection / response services to a global client base.
As Managing Principal reporting to the UK Managing Director (whilst having a close working relationship with the Chief Architect) your deliverables will include:
*Achieve a revenue as well as an average gross margin target for your stream*Build a future proof virtual team for your domain, which has the skills and certifications required by the market*Be seen as a trusted advisor for your clients' (these will typically be C-suite contacts)*Drive the business development of end-to-end cyber programmes in conjunction with sales and consulting teams*Meet an average billable utilisation target*Be a thought leader in your domain through continuous education *Foster strong relationships with partners
A key requirment of the role is to understand and transfer the technical aspects of cybersecurity, but also hold the required business / financial acumen to partner sucussfully with the internal sales, delivery and finance teams
UK travel to London/Kent offices and client sites expected
The most desirable Managing Principal applicant will:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information security. cybersecurity, engineering or a related (business) field is highly preferred
- Strong experience of working in the Financial Services & Banking sector and / or Public sector
- Demonstrable experience of engaging with C-Suite executives
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in information security
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (Certification in CISM or CSSP is highly preferred)
- Familiarity with digital marketing and experience in developing GTM strategies, creating value propositions based on client needs.
- Strong business development skills possibly from a career with a professional consulting firm
Basic Salary £100k-£120k (OTE £150k) plus benefits
