I am looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join my client’s dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for technical problem-solving and a desire to contribute to the success of the company whilst leading a team of skilled Engineers.

Duties include:

  • Leading a small team of Engineers .
  • Providing support for the engineering team with any technical questions or queries.
  • Monitoring KPIs and performance management.
  • Carrying out engineering audits and toolbox talks.
  • Implementing new strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Providing training to new and existing staff.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime and support the on-site engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues , using technical knowledge and appropriate tools.
  • Being heavily involved in project work.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Team Lead or similar role , preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • A relevant engineering qualification.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems , as well as troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Previous experience with project work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead a team efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail , organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
