Maintenance Supervisor

I am looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join my client’s dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for technical problem-solving and a desire to contribute to the success of the company whilst leading a team of skilled Engineers.
Duties include:
- Leading a small team of Engineers .
- Providing support for the engineering team with any technical questions or queries.
- Monitoring KPIs and performance management.
- Carrying out engineering audits and toolbox talks.
- Implementing new strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Providing training to new and existing staff.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime and support the on-site engineers.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues , using technical knowledge and appropriate tools.
- Being heavily involved in project work.
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Team Lead or similar role , preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical engineering.
- A relevant engineering qualification.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems , as well as troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Previous experience with project work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead a team efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail , organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
